专家的回答:
It's not "I am all ears", which sounds like you're reading your English out of a book, instead of speaking it, it's "I'm all ears" meaning, "Okay, I'm listening, tell me what you're thinking/what your idea on this is/what your plan is" and so on. It is used in response to someone saying that he or she has something important to say (on sth). To "get cold feet" means to "chicken out at the last minute"; "chicken out" means change one's mind about doing sth because of cowardice, fear, fear of feeling/looking ridiculous, weakness; "at the last minute" means just before an event, meeting, happening (e.g. a meeting, date, contest, etc.) is to take place.
